Whether you're starting with a young puppy or looking to reinforce obedience in an adult dog, Fluid K9 Dog Training offers customized programs that deliver results.
Our training is based on the four quadrants of dog training — Positive Reinforcement, Negative Reinforcement, Positive Punishment, and Negative Punishment.
Led by certified trainer John E. Lugo, we design every program around your dog’s behavior, learning style, and your personal goals.
Dog Training Programs We Offer
We believe that training should build trust, not just obedience. Our programs teach dogs how to make good choices, respond to clear cues, and behave confidently in real-world environments. Every session focuses on reinforcing calm behavior, improving communication, and helping both the owner and dog thrive together.
No two dogs are the same, which is why we adjust every training plan after getting to know your dog’s temperament and your priorities as an owner. Our training is balanced, adaptive, and based on years of experience helping dogs and their owners communicate more clearly and confidently.
Puppy Foundations
Ideal for puppies aged 12 weeks to 6 months, this program sets the foundation for a well-mannered companion.

Private Lessons (6 x 1-hour sessions)
Teach basic obedience, name recognition, leash manners, recall, and engagement.
Board & Train (2 weeks)
Includes all the above, plus crate training, structured socialization, and post-program private lessons.
Vaccines Required
Rabies, Bordetella, DHPP; proof of deworming, flea, and tick prevention.
Basic Obedience
This on-leash training program teaches core obedience and good manners over a three-week stay.
*If a client completes Basic Obedience and later returns for Off-Leash Obedience, the cost of Off-Leash is $2,500.

The Private Lesson Program includes 6 sessions, each one hour long. Perfect for owners who want to be hands-on throughout the training process.

Boarding Per Night

Overnight Boarding includes:

Not intended for retraining, but for fine-tuning and upkeep
We know that life gets busy and with that, your dog's training may slip a bit.
Let us help fine-tune your pups previously learned skills or work on skills that have been troublesome while you're away.
(This program is not designed to retrain skills, but merely refresh them.)
